Who can register on RedYellow.com.sa as a Job Seeker?

RedYellow.com.sa services are mainly intended for expatriates who work in Saudi Arabia and their sponsors “NITAQAT Status” is YELLOW or RED (or who have Transferrable Iqama).

Can I register on RedYellow.com.sa if my sponsor’s NITAQAT Status in GREEN?

Yes, any expatriate living and working in Saudi Arabia can register on RedYellow.com.sa as a Job Seeker.

Can I register on RedYellow.com.sa if I am a Saudi National?

Yes, however this service is designed for expats who are living and working in Saudi Arabia .

Registration: How to create an account on RedYellow.com.sa?

1. From RedYellow.com.sahome page, Click on Register Now

2. Fill out the registration form

3. Click on "Register and Continue"

4. The SMS activation page will open, please follow the instructions to send your Iqama, ID Number by SMS to the shown Short Code of your Telecom Operator

5. You will receive an SMS confirming your activation

Login: How to login to your account?

1. Go to Job Seeker Login page.

2. Enter your registered Email and Password (make sure that the Caps Lock button is off when you write the Password).

Login: Can't login to your account?

Make sure that;

1. You entered the Job Seeker Login page (Not Employers Login Page).

2. You typed your Email and Password correctly.

3. The Caps Lock button is off when you write the Password.

Lost Password: How to retrieve your password?

1. Click on the link "Forgot Password" from the Login Box

2. Enter your registered Email

3. If it is correct, an Email will be sent to you containing your RedYellow Account Login Information (You can find it either in the Inbox or maybe in the Spam/Junk Mail Folder)

Refresh your profile: How to refresh your profile?

1. Log in to your account

2. Click on any "Save Section" button (without changing anything in your profile unless you need to)

3. Click on the link "View My Profile" from Job Seekers Side Menu

4. You will find the last updated (date & time) on top right of the profile page.

Now, when Employers search the database of CVs while if your profile is Active, this means that your profile and CV will appear on top of the CVs search result sorted by date which gives an indicator to Employers that you are actively looking for a job.

Note: Your profile has to be ACTIVE in order for your profile and CV to appear in employer's searches.

Upload / Build CV: How to have a CV on RedYellow.com.sa?

If you have a ready CV File in your PC and wish to use it on RedYellow.com.sa:

1. Log in to your account

2. Complete your profile (Make sure to click "Save Section" after completing each section

3. In the last section "Upload or Create CV", Click on "Upload CV" button.

4. Click Browse to locate your CV File and select it

5. Wait until you see "File Saved" confirmation message

CV File acceptable formats .docx,.doc, .rtf, .pdf, .txt, .html and Max Size 500 KB

Otherwise, please use RedYellow.com.sa's Advanced & User-friendly CV Builder:

1. Log in to your account

2. Complete your profile (Make sure to click "Save Section" after completing each section

3. In the last section "Upload or Create CV", Click on "Build CV" button.

4. Fill out the section and Save after each step

5. After Saving the last Section "References", Click on "Build CV"

6. You will see "Your CV has successfully been generated" confirmation message.

Edit CV: How to Edit your CV?

To Edit an Uploaded CV:

1. Log in to your account

2. Click on "CV Upload" from the Job Seeker's Side Menu

3. "Upload or Create CV" Section will open, Click on "Upload CV" button.

4. Click Browse to locate your NEW CV File and select it

5. Wait until you see "File Saved" confirmation message

CV File acceptable formats .docx, .doc, .rtf, .pdf, .txt, .html and Max Size 500 KB

To Edit a CV Built using RedYellow.com.sa's CV Builder:

1. Log in to your account

2. Click on "CV Builder" from the Job Seeker's Side Menu.

3. Review and Edit the fields that need update, and Save after each step

4. After Saving all sections go to the last one "References", and Click on "Build CV"

5. You will see "Your CV has successfully been generated" confirmation message.

Apply to Jobs: How to Apply to jobs?

1. Log in to your account.

2. Click on the link Job Search in the Job Seekers Side Menu

3. Fill in the search criteria. (We suggest keeping the salary fields empty as many Employers do not mention the salary.)

4. Click "Save" to Save your Search Criteria, or click "Search Jobs" to start your Job search.

5. The Job(s) that match your criteria will appear

6. Click on the Job you want to apply to.

7. Review it and scroll down to the end of the Job Post

8. You can Save, Send to Friend, Print and Apply to Job

9. Click on Apply Now

10. Fill the application form out, and Click "Apply Now" button

11. Your profile and CV will be sent to the Employer directly.

12.you will receive an E-mail confirmation message.

E-Job Finder: How to save your search criteria?

1. Log in to your account.

2. Click on the link Job Search in the Job Seekers Side Menu

3. Fill in the search criteria. (We suggest keeping the salary fields empty as many Employers do not mention the salary.)

4. Click "Save" to Save your Search Criteria.

5. Enter a title for your Search

6. Click on Save Search

7. You can come back any time and run any of your saved searches

8. Click on the link "e-Job Finder" in the Job Seekers Side Menu

9. Click on "Active/Inactive" to Activate and Deactivate your Saved Search.

10. Click on the Saved Search Title to view the Criteria and Click on "Search Now"

11. You can Edit or Delete the Saved Search any time.

Note: Many Employers search the CVs Data Base using Keywords, the more keywords you include in your CV about your skills, qualifications, training courses …etc., the more you have a chance to appear in Employers searches.

Delete or deactivate Profile: How to Delete or Deactivate your account?

To deactivate your account:

1. Log in to your account

2. Click on the link "Change status" on the upper right.

3. A small window will appear to confirm, click OK.

4. The INACTIVE red color means that your profile is INACTIVE. (This means that your Profile will not show in Employers CV search)

To Delete your account:

1. Log in to your account.

2. Click on the link "Cancellation Form" from the Job Seekers Side Menu

3. Fill out the Cancellation Form

3. Click on "Cancel/Remove Now" button

What are the chances for your profile being viewed?

To increase the chances of your profile being viewed more by employers; please make sure of the following:

- Double check you profile information i.e. putting the right Location, Nationality, Education degree and most importantly the right Job Title as many Employers search by Job Title.

- Include an attractive brief under the field of CV Summary e.g. your skills, points of strength, attractive keywords …etc.

- Whether you decide to build or attach your CV, please make sure you include enough information focusing on responsibilities vs. achievements in your experience section.

- Refresh your Profile by entering to your account often and Save it without changing anything in your profile unless you need to do so that your profile appears updated by date when Employers search the date base of CVs.

Can I know who open my CV?

You will not be able to know which Employer viewed your CV as this is part of our Privacy Policy.

However, you will continue to know how many times your CV has appeared in Employer searches and how many times it was viewed.

2. On the upper right corner of your Job Seekers Home (beside your name),You can know how many times your profile has been opened by a Registered Employer "CV Views", and how many times it appeared in an Employer's Search results "CV Searches"

How to measure the attractiveness of your CV?

1. Login to your account.

2. On the upper right corner of your Job Seekers Home (beside your name), You can know how many times your profile has been opened by a Registered Employer "CV Views", and how many times it appeared in an Employer's Search results "CV Searches"

No response to any: I have applied to many Jobs but didn’t get contacted, why?

RedYellow.com.sa only provides the electronic recruitment service between Employers and Job Seekers, therefore, Employers will contact you directly if they find your CV relevant to the applied Job, on the other hand, having your profile in the ACTIVE status will increase your chances when Employers search the CVs Database.

Note: Many Employers search the CVs Database using Keywords, the more keywords you include in your CV about your skills, qualifications, training courses …etc., the more you have a chance to appear in Employers searches.
